It does look like a cockerel to me, but that is one dark cockerel. What do the pullets look like, if you don't mind my asking? It's hard to get a Dom cockerel that nice and dark.

this other one is from jewels hatch, ee mix, am pretty sure a pullet??

Based on color alone (if Dom's color is like Cuckoo Marans color) I'd say both boys also. But that EE mix is goiung to be beautfiul!

My 2 Faverolles/Orloff mix eggs are pipped and the Cochin/Ameraucana egg is pipped! There's also a pure Cochin in there that has grown good all along so I'm waiting for it to pip also. Actual hatch day is tomorrow but these 3 pipped yesterday. I've wanted these particular mixes for such a long time and I'm really excited. Plus they're all from my eggs here so that's even more exciting. It just never gets old watching them pip and hatch!!!!!

Moring all, it is sooooo nice outside! I am going to love today I am home this morning and can putter around taking care of birds. Hopefully we see some rain tonight our pond is looking horrible.

Mitzi, that is one cute cross beak baby! I would never have thought using a dremel tool to help it!
