***OKIES in the BYC III ***

It's messed up for me also, Bill. Keeps giving me fatal errors and loads it in text mode or something. I'm on my laptop so it's not an iPad problem this time.

Well it seems to have worked itself out whatever the issue was it sure was odd LOL The weather was perfect for working in the yard this evening got quite a bit accomplished but still had to make promises to some of the chickens that I would get to their areas this weekend the projects never end and I wouldn't have it any other way LOL

it did it to me yesterday too, intermitant, and there are a few posts about it on the forum news section

first baby out....

second baby on the way....

4 to go... trying not to bug mama

If the guinea made it overnight I am sure she will be fine. I have had a handful get injured & only lost one. They are much more hardy than chickens, once grown.
We stopped by Chickasha atwoods this wk & there were still hundreds of chicks & keets -- they had marked them all down to try & get rid of them.
Everyone stay warm the next few days. I plan to stay inside warm & snug as much as possible. Cold seems to make my pain levels intolerable.

How marked down are we talking?

I'm at work cruising the backyardchicken site......

This describes my energy level:

Edit: Sorry if the graphic offended anyone. I am not accustomed to curse words offending people.
Basically the little image said "Foget this stuff!" (showed a person throwing papers down) and under it said "Just kidding. It's Thursday and I need this stuff." (showed the person picking all the papers up)

I know exactly what graphic you're talking about! I saw it come across my facebook newsfeed earlier. They're picky here about words, just so you know. I wasn't offended though, and in fact didn't even see yours before the edit.

Robin, are you looking for Bantam Fav eggs online or did you mean you couldn't find any of your Fav's eggs? If you're looking for eggs I'll send you all you want! My 4 Bantam Fav girls are laying every day. The boy in with them is the Blue Salmon and he's gorgeous.

I want to get myself a couple of bantam favs next spring. And a trio of Dominiques. And some more silkies. Er, you know. . . chicken math.

sorry but I am ROFL!!! Yep that is a guinea for you!!! Hope your okay but they are no the brightest. We lost one of our Jr. guineas they are 3 months old and I put a heat lamp out for them last week and I guess one didn't go in the shelter part of their A-frame when it rained and the darn thing I guess got wet and then cold and died! We had to take the other two (yes they stayed out in the rain as well) and put them in the shelter with a heat lamp to save them. Dumb birds!

Oh, water! I spent an entire weekend this summer scooping guineas out of the pool. They'd get in but couldn't get out, get chilled and go all shocky on me. I put them in the sunroom to heat up and they all made it, but I bet they wouldn't have if it had been this cold.
