Okies in the BYC The Original

During my DD's recent trip to the Big Apple she visited Ellis Island and snapped this photo on her phone. She did not have much time to spend there to search further but this picture was on a plaque in the main hall. The name Maria is My Grandmother who came over in 1914, I thought it was nice of her to think of even looking for our family names.

WOO-HOO! I have pipping and zipping!!!! OMG!!! YAHOO!!! YIPPEE!!!

I am stripping and sanding all my lower cabinets in the kitchen. All my windows are open and the martins have nested on my front door so they are flying back and forth!! I heard peeping! I thought wow! Good for Mr. and Mrs. Martin!! Then there was this thumping and bumping in the incubator! I thought the cats were up there! Then I heard what I knew was PEEP peeping!!! I have a chick!!! It looks fine and healthy!!! I have holes in like 5 other eggs!!! I can't believe it!!!! It has been napping and peeping off and on... I am so stoked.....I wish Ronnie was here!!! Pics coming up!!! I just had to tell you guys!!!

Sharon, here is the hatch report

You sent 32 eggs.
26 made it to the hatcher.
21 hatched and are now in the brooder.
1 more I just now help out of the shell.
1 is still hatching.
1 pipped but did not make it.
2 have no signs of movement.

So, you could look it as 24 chicks (that's how many at least tried to hatch) out of 32 eggs, that is pretty good for shipped eggs

I have broody # 3 hatching now Graces eggs and a few of mine#4 at day 18 on dutchchicks eggs, set #5 with eggs from Lynn graybear23 last night, #6 is getting some of Carla and dizzys eggs.
My hova bator is due 6-10 with my welsummer and blrw from Bill Braden.

I didnt forget you Don, I just was looking at it as the ones under my control. I know all those eggs are in good hands.

Unfortunately, paypal only gave me a limited amount of characters in a box to respond (I wonder why ???) and that's why I only had a short reply. I'm hoping that I'll eventually be able to provide more information to defend myself.

You also might try sending paypal a link to the BYC page in which feedback is given for buyers and sellers - nearly all the comments pertaining to you mention how wonderfully your eggs are packaged and you have consistently received the highest rating. Plus it's all recent feedback, indicating that excellent egg packaging is a practice you continue to do now - not something you used to do but may not have with this buyer.

IIIIMMMMMMMM BAAAACK :

Got out today and piddled with some errands and worked in the coop's getting things going a little more, felt good I am still in one piece, I think Iam back in the saddle, ready for work in the am. looking forward to it. I think I will start a new hatch tomorrow of some Light Brahama's and silkies I have been collecting for a few day's and were ready to fire up the Acclaimed AL-A-BATOR for the 5 th time this spring. Just want to fill out some of these breeding pen's they look so deserted LOL. The girls went for a shopping trip today sshheeeesh when will that end LOL, I promised the DD a new I-PoD and the wife I told to have fun, it will be our 25th wedding aniversary on the 4th, Has it been that long LOL. I hope Iam generous LOL, sorry guy's just happen to be in a decent mood today for a change.
