Thanks on the Id of the OEG's not a bad buy then hugh???? Got them moved in today, not doing to bad. The hens comb is purplish????? Does that mean she is old.

About eating I will have to wait and see. I will be at the class for sure tho.

Just got in the house after watching Lynn vacuum the yard. I have to say it does look nice.

I will still try to make it on friday for grub time but since this week has me off schedule at the job site I am just not as sure now, but will try like a son of a gun.

Roosters use the combs, wattles and such to hold their opponet in a fight and gain advantage. The cockers first started dubbing roosters way back so a rooster with a small comb would not have an advantage over a rooster with a big comb. When the poultry shows first started up all of the game roosters were already dubbed so the tradition has just carried forth from the old days.

I ain't scared to eat anything! Just like to know what it is...all the different noodles get me confused!

Just make sure there is a meat source and I am happy! And it has to be hot! Cold noodles are nasty!

Your grand kids are doing fine went to the outside booder today, I ended up with a cool mix of tuxcedo/whites and browns. I can't wait for more eggs from these so I can start to process some and get into a little routine with them. they sure are easy to care for if the hutch is set up well.
