So far, I am aware of the following joining us for lunch after the NPIP class: Al, Henny and Mike, TJ, Kenda and TJ's Nana - anyone else?

I would like to join you all for lunch after the class. It will be like a mini POOPS

That is nice Charlie. What kind is it and where did you get it?

It is a Phoenix 4001. I bought it off e-bay last November. I had to drive to Tx to pick it up. It is fully automatic. The guy had used it to hatch emus.

Morning all. Rained all last night and still raining here. Hope all you south east people dont float away. Be careful.

Charlie that is one nice incubator.

Thanks for the dubbing info. Lynn could not understand why they would take away his "pride and joy" for showing.

Monty hoping that the polish got smart and went in to the pen last night when it started raining. They were all perched on top of the a-frame when I closed everyone up.

I agree that the POOPS get together and BYC has made many many friendships that will last a very long time. Aint we OKIES just great.

I want to meet up more, you guys are just around the city and my timing is way off. LOL.

Has anyone heard of this auction or been to it??

I am considering this might be my last hatch for a while. I am out totally of space. Unless I can get some more pens built. I still dont know what we are going to do with the chicks that will hatch.

It will be wonderful to visit with you on the 12th. I have missed your smiling face and sense of humor.

What color are your silkies and how much are they? I think silkies look like a creature from a Dr. Suess book and are totally useless, except for the fact that they always make me smile. I currently have one white hen, two white roosters and one copper splash colored rooster.

I am glad that I remembered to swallow my beverage before reading your post or I would have been cleaning the computer screen after reading your description of the white rock chick among the silkies.

Last summer we took my mother to Indiana to visit her sister and high school classmates. While there, hubby and I went to Shipshewana for an antique auction. I totally enjoyed shopping in the stores that cater to the Amish and Mennonites - they had some wonderful canned goods, cheeses and "homemade" noodles. I also enjoyed seeing all the Amish buggies.

Teach 0 - if you try and leave town without staying to eat lunch then

I have only been there once for lunch and ordered something good off the menu.

There is always pizza if you are worried about Al ordering something you aren't sure you want to ingest.

I will still try to make it on friday for grub time but since this week has me off schedule at the job site I am just not as sure now, but will try like a son of a gun.

Teach : I really could order for you, and I may go easy on ya LOL.

AL

Al - I will ask you the same question that I ask a co-worker who likes to go to the office on the weekends. What have you got to do that absolutely can't wait until Monday? You have a capable crew who will get the job done even if you aren't standing there coaching them. Besides, you aren't supposed to overdo things for awhile after your recent trip to ER. A 4 day week next week is just what you need.

Day olds usually sell for at least 60 cents at the auction. Just figure out what you want to keep and take the rest - you ought to clear enough to buy another dozen or two hatching eggs.

Good morning all. Well, I went to go let the chickens out this morning and some of my little ones were already out. Feathers all soaked. Have to keep an eye on them I guess. They are about 10 weeks old.

My lawn is soaked. Must have got alot of rain after i fell asleep last night. I didnt hear a thing.
