Hey Teach-this is the best purchase that I have ever made for my wife, her chickens that is! Sorry Henny and everyone else for the losses. Here in the desert we do the 2-liter ice bottles and misters on a timer. Had to do the timer because I can't get others to turn it on when I'm not there.

I actually got mine for less on eBay, it is kind of pricey, but worth every saved bird. It is highly expandable and available from several online places. You can also connect cage waterers to it. I guess they should pay me a commission or at least an endorsement fee after all that but I love ours.

TJ's Na-Na :

So, is everyone going to wear their POOPS shirts to
the restaurant for dinner? I'll keep Pa-Pa's with me until after
the class.....LOL He'd manage to get a drop of blood on it, or
a chicken would manage to do a POOPS number on it.....LOL

Nope... I don't have a shirt, never got one... *sigh* oh well, I like to stand out anyways.

I just got a quick question what is the durability of the connecting hoses and fittings on top of the waterers? This is something that I am gonna have to get filling 12 different waterers 2 and 3 times per day gets old!!!!

Oh and by the way... I found one of my babies sitting half dead in the drink freezing her tail off. I pick her up and went out into the sun with her, she's doing much better now... I'm so thankful for that.

Evening all : got in very late today and have not had much time to visit lately. Looks as though some of your chickens don't cotton to this fine oklahoma weather, Heck I don't either LOL. My DD Alyssa has decided it might be fun to go with her dear old Dad to OKC for lunch on Friday, I think she may be growing out of the I don't want to be seen with my Parents stage LOL.

I had intended to meet up with all the Friday NPIP class participants and other POOPSters for lunch, but unfortunately I have to attend a funeral instead. An aunt passed away

My only coworker is on on vacation and I'm having to work mandatory overtime 2 hours every night AND 10 hours on Saturday night

I'm really sad now.

I have 9 chicks in the brooder and these things are so dumb, they keep splashing around in the water like a bunch of crazy ducks. I am so sick of cleaning up their cage. They act like it is the only thing I have to do.

Hello all, I hope the summer weather is treating you well.

God Bless

Evening folks! Horrible day for ball practice. The boys all acted like they had been swimming all day. Even mine who I know weren't swimming. Game is on Thursday...when I have class

Other than Luvs2garden, I anticipate that everyone who is taking the class will stay for lunch. So far, I am aware of the following "non-class takers" joining us for lunch at Ilalianos Pasta and Pizza after the NPIP class: Al and his lovely daughter, Henny and Mike, TJ, Kenda and TJ's Nana, and Stimp - anyone else?
Added Al's daughter to the list joining us for lunch - there will be plenty of room at the table if anyone else wants to join us. The restaurant is on the West side of Lincoln 4801 N. Lincoln and the phone number for the restaurant is 405-525-8900.

fertile eggs are always more fun the hatch than those that don't develop

Maybe this time I can keep them alive more than a few days by using a higher protein feed and keeping them the exact right temperature - and keeping the grandchildren and their friends from holding all of them
