Well folks! Congrats for all of you who have new additions to your families.
I told my daughter she would have to wait til I am in my 40s before making me a grandmother. Not really worried about that she is really focused on school and work so maybe in 5 years or so. I am so proud of her!!!

Ok so I got hit hard by predators this last weekend and lost 12 birds. I am so frustrated.
I am pretty sure hawks got four of them but the rest I just do not know because there is not any feathers, bodies, nothing.
It has motivated me to get the coop done. I will take pictures when It is totally complete. I still have not had the slabs laid but coop can just be transferred on to it once it finished. It is funny watching the birds take turns going in and looking at the rennovations. Got the side panel off with chicken wire up, and put the fan in so they have good air flow to keep them cool. I also started getting the nesting boxes rack finished. Going to have to go to Habitats tomorrow to get some pvc (the guy there always gives me a good deal).
Hey does anyone have any square buckets that cat litter or laundry soap comes in. I need about 10. I have 4 cool, heavy duty metal boxes I would trade for them. Lids would be great as well.
Well I better get off here and finish dinner and the such. Hope everyone has a great evening. It is supposed to start cooling down to a freezing 94 degrees this weekend. Wow is that sad or what?
