HAHAHA...you're just used to OKlahoma where people are really nice. I came from California...BAD BAD BAD!!! We visited out here once and we walked into a convenience store. They lady said hey how y'all doing? I thought she was talking to someone behind us, and she started laughing. She said you're not from here are you? I still have to remember to try and look people in the eye and say hi, and wave when ya pass on the back roads. Where I come from if ya look people int he eye or wave ya just might get shot. The first hunting season we were here you could hear gunshots everywhere out here... I told Mike, at least we can be reasonably sure they are shooting at animals!!!

I have vistited California as well Clovis to be exact, wow did I ever feel out of place, nothing there and I opened a door for a elderly couple at a convienice store and I think that they thought I was going to mug them!!!! It is just sad that people have to be so rude all the time, I was raised as yes mam, no mam, etc and to respect my elders, but that seems to be a thing of the past unless you are a great Okie!!!
