LOL, I am on facebook farm town too! I love it and spend way too much time playing on it. Monty just go to your applications and you can serch for "Farm Town", you will see serveal versions you want the plain farm town. I will have to get you guys' email address to add you.

Tina glad to hear your baby girl is doing good! Love the pic's!

Didn't get the rain here, just some sprinkles. It was alittle cooler.

There are storms out there, but most are missing us...*sigh* A gust front came through and hens ran into the coop. I thought yay I can lock em all up now....Silly peeps were hiding out under a pallet....

Had to go round them up. Got my cardio in for the day.... We have the most beautiful skies here....I would not trade an Oklahoma sky for love or money!!!

No weather in Tulsa since last night. I spent the day driving my bestest friend to OKC on the turnpike in my car and then following her home on Rt 66...me in my Prius, her on her Big Dog Chopper motorcycle. At least one of us is totally cool.

Andisgarden! Congrats on your eggs - some of mine have just begun laying this week, too. It's so exciting! Last night I blew out some store-bought eggs to put in my nest boxes to entice the girls to lay in the nest box, not the run/dog house/behind the AC unit/etc. If Stimpy was here he'd say he read that chickens have been laying eggs on their own, without fake egg tools and whatnot for 20 years.

Luvs! Claire is a keeper! Thanks for the photos.

Bigokie - I sent the pickup info to all my hardup pickup-wantin' buddies...

Hello all!

edited to correct grammer and spelling, since I am a pro-pheshunell.

Ha! My wife and I were both born in Madera, we went to Fresno State, and I have a half brother who still lives in Clovis. Small world.

That is one beautiful state, with many interesting things going for it, but man I'm glad we came home (my grandma was born in Indian Territory in the 1890s and my dad was born and raised in the Wilburton/Hartshorn area, both of them buried in the Mountain Station cemetery).

Life is so much better here.

My kids and wife are Wyandotte Tribal members. I agree California is a beautiful state but I would hate to be there in the financial turmoil that they are in, I will just stay in the Great Okie Land!!

Okay, I have 10 Welsummer babies that have got to go, too. 6 pullets and 4 cockerels. They are 7 weeks old and are growing like weeds.

I am asking $55 for all. Anyone need a good up and coming Welsummer flock?

My husband is taking them to the farmers market tomorrow, so speak up or for ever hold your peace. LOL

Hello fellow Okies :
I allways feel like I miss out on everybody by getting on so late, it's just thats normally the only time I can get free. I see lightning and hear some rumbling but no good stuff so far.

Wanter of square buckets would be me. I have tried round buckets as nesting boxes but the chickens have issues

Actually had to pull over a couple times on my way home just now. I hope this makes things cool down for everyone else now. My aunt and uncle live in Slapout, up by the panhandle. They said the temperatures were near 117 some days! They lost several of their flock.

My Serama eggs should be arriving any day now, and I can't wait! I've got the bator ready to go. And she told me that she put in Cuckoo and Blue Copper Marans. Marans!! I hope I get a decent hatch.
