Today is the worst day at work ... no time to do anything but work ... my brain is about to explode! So, I took a break to read my emails and well, this one is so cute that I had to share

Well we do have cinnamon queens and the mature hen lays every day with a day off once a week. Guess what? Yep, you guessed it, she is my husband's favorite hen. He acts like she is made of gold. It is pretty funny. I just want him to be happy with which ever flock.

Oh my gosh... you are not going to believe this. Mike and I finally have a quiet night at home with nothing going on. I get home early enough to get dinner ready and a shower before he gets home. We plan to eat and vegitate on the couch and cuddle. I start feeling funny while we are eating dinner. I barely made it through dinner. I conked out on the couch and he had to move me to the bed. I slept like a rock from 6-11 while he watched TV. When he turned off the TV I was wide awake so I did a load of laundry and finished my Bible study. But was sleepy again by midnight and conked out again. I slept for 12 hours.... I don't know what hit me, but I died. Feel great today. When Mike left for work he was harassing me about him being so boring he puts me to sleep. It was the weirdest thing....I just literally couldn't go anymore.

Yes K I did after a very long search find some good breeding stock white LF Cornish, I do not have any cross stock yet. The talk of Don's meat birds was interesting and I am kicking around some ideas nothing revolutionary though.

I couldn't agree more Buster but alot of people act like homegrown ought to be cheaper.

Funny thing is they are the ones that don't want to put up with the responsibility of having chickens, think they are dirty/messy, and don't like the sound that a rooster makes!

mornin all sure is nice here this mornin,we got quit a biy of rain last night.all the mud holes are fulli can actually see all my chickens today their not hiding in the trees.anyone need a good fixer upper truck.i am sellin a 1992 chevy 1/2 to 4.3 v6. bright red needs a clutch an set of tires.clutch set at autozone for it is $149.just need to get it out of my yard

Oh yeah!! They will buy from me when they are 2.50 at walmart, but when walmart goes to 1.50 I'm screwed. Sometimes I hope they choke on them. Whatever happened to product loyalty? I could see it if I was selling them for 3.00 a dozen, but 2.00 is cheap.....
