By the way, thanks Okie57 for posting the links to Craigslist. I had never really looked at all the listing, till now. You have me hooked, I check it everyday now!! And I signed up for freecycle.

Good luck with your move, they say the weather is supposed to be in the 60's this weekend.

I remember my granmother taking me to a quail hatchery when I was very young, I bet its that one!

I got the Little Giant 9200. So far everyone's had nothing good to say about it, but I love it! Maybe its because I feel spoiled after using the antique.

Foghorn, are you the one that's in Chickasha? I think I bought the only bator at the Country Store. *ha* Be sure to check anyway. And I called Atwood's yesterday, and the girl told me the end of March! But they never know, they have new people all the time.

Cammie, I know I can make the animation if I had multiple pictures - say, 4, of the bird in different positions. I just have to combine the pictures and set the timing, then I can save it as one document thingy.
Oh, I'm sorry about the incubator; they pick the worst times to do those things

Egh - I know someone with extra wire - he sold all his chickens, so he has some wire left over because I he just bought some rolls a few months ago.... but, I think his was little 1/2 in. squares, though.

I'll have to wait till summer to go to the hatchery, when I have a day off during the week!

County, I seen some little giant ones at Ross's, come to think about it! March would make more sense, since Easter is in March. Last year, Ross's had the Flemish Giant rabbits, hope they have them this year!! The Marlow flea market is Sat, I'd like to go to it and the Cement auction, but I really need to stay home and finish some other projects!

Foghorn: I am glad you found it! There is also a gamebird hatchery near Harrah. He raises quail, pheasants, chuukars, etc. and sends them all over the country.

Cammie, I have two little giants. I have had good and bad luck with them. Last spring I had them both full and had a near 100% hatch rate in one and about 10% in the other. They were side by side.
The next time I used them the good one went out and I put the eggs in the other one just hoping to salvage something and almost all of theose hatched. Go figure.
One thing I found is to get a good thermometer and not use the little ones that come with the bator. I got a digital one at Wal-mart for like $8 It is more accurate.

Okie, thanks for the news about the asbestos. I would love to have one of those barns.

Graceful: Once it warms up I'll get some pix of my birds and hire you to do an avatar. Monty
