Al,
If Quenston don't take all of the 4 H fair chicks, I will bring them down to auction off.
I will also need your help on setting up the hatcher for the fair! It has the hatcher on top and brooder on the bottom. Our extention agent said he had a hard time rgulating the temp. He has changed out the thermostat, any other suggestions? Could it be that the doors don't seal to good?

Well I dont know that I will buy all the chicks all though I tend to be a impulse buyer lol But if I get carried away I am sure that I will be bringing some anyways!

Speaking of "critters" and "losses".... Guess it's our turn today...
We've been seeing this blasted thing for 30 days, but he's the
wildest one we've ever had around here. How he got in there,
we don't know, but Kendra (of all people...LOL) found him in
the Coturnix brooder this morning..... cost us 6 birds, but could
have been much worse. Wasn't sure there for a bit if Kendra
was gonna make it....LOL

Am hoping I remember how to post pictures on this thing....LOL

LOL....Kendra watered the front yard thoroughly headed for the
door like the Roadrunner Cartoon bird....LOL But, one that size...
Na-Na woulda been "movin' " as well. Pa-Pa grabbed the snake
catcher and the battle was on. Once he got it caught, he handed
the catcher to TJ. It was ALL TJ could do to get him out of the
brooder. So, we've had our own private rodeo this morning.

Hi all, The auction last night was a blast! Came home with more than I needed to. Including an infested little silkie, poor thing was just covered. So spent the day bathing, dusting and just over all caring for the poor little guy. Can someone please tell me where to find de here. I have asked everywhere they all look at me like I'm crazy. Thanks





quenston- I'm with you on the snake issue. Man that sucker is big!

In the two snake encounters we have had this year we lost two chicks and two quail.
Both times the snake got in thru a tiny hole and couldn't get back out.
Jared used the Machette on the last one, Lotsa little pieces.

Quenston. That is a nice fish.
The first time I went noodling I was about 14 and one grabbed my whole foot and almost pulled me under. I'd like to see that fish try and pull me under now. It would never happen. I probably wouldn't scream now either.
