I think that my cousin preached in Cement for a while, small world. Nevada is where I live now but I grew up right in between Ninnekah, Cement, and Rush Springs. I really miss those watermelons.

I used to 'cruise' Chickasha back in "the day".

Nice! And here I was proud of my little bass from my pond. What you must have thought when you are used to fish like that!

So what did you use to catch it? Trot line? Pole? Your hands? If pole, that must have been a heck of a fight. If hand, I'd hate to stick my hand in a hole big enough for that thing!

That is certainly understandable. I'm glad Al and Gerald were able to cheer you up a bit, even for a while.

Losing someone you care about is such a hard thing to go through.

I was there, and think I was sitting in front of you and a couple of others. I was the guy with the rookie poultry book (Pocket Full of Poultry). I never know what the bird is even when they tell you, and most of the time at Cement they don't. Al said it tips everyone off I'm a rookie.

I don't think they need to see the book to tell that.

Give your family our best wishes. We will pray for all of you in church this morning.

Sooner - if you did Batman you could do Mr. Freeze - it's not as bad as it looks - and I agree that last turn on Titan fuzzes the senses...can't be good (but that first drop is AWESOME!).

LOL, i didn't skip it cause I was worried about it, but there happened to be a blue bench right there so my bad habbit came into play.

It was all great. I'm glad the kids had a great time too. I am happy to be back home and in my own bed.

What a great catch!!!! Considering you could go without cleaning another one you must of filled the freezer! Hope you and the family had a great week.

Love the idea of painting then auctioning.

Quenston - When we were down there for the NPIP deal,
since we would only be there for one night, we stayed in
a motel out at MidWest City. Gees, they were pricey. We
ended up at the LaQuinta right on #40. It was $56 for the
four of us, a very nice room, clean, breakfast the next
morning.....a full 3rd less than the others in the area.

But, if you can, stay in one of the cabins. Neecey, HenniePennie,
Al, Pepper, and others did last spring and can tell you more
about what you would need to bring....like maybe a blow up
mattress for the kids (we'll have an air pump) and how much
room you'd have in there, etc. I didn't go in one to know.
But, you'd be right there and have more time to visit.....
and get hooked up on chores.....LOL And, like I said, there
is a 10 minute limit on being a stranger...LOL

And, if you have a tent, there is a tent area right across from
the clubhouse, too. I remember Teach, and one other group,
camped over there.

And, WOW, Nice Fish !!!!!!!!!!

Have a good one !

I actually caught that on a trot line there aint no way that I am gonna stick my hand in no hole that I cant see if there is anything going to bite me!! I have some friends tha do the whole noodeling thing and that just isnt my cup of tea!!

Crap first night home an I loose two silkies to a preditor! I don't think it was a coon cause it ate everything but the feathers, head & feet. I guess I am off here to go find the hole in my pen! Man that really pisses me off. Have a great day everyone.
