I have been trying to put my thoughts into words regarding a co-worker who died this week, after complications from surgery. We will have a celebration of life for him tomorrow afternoon. Everyone needs to hug their families and be thankful for whatever good health you have. Life is short. Handle it with prayer.

Hmmm, I didn't know Teach was into snake porn...

This is just like TV. If you stay up late, you never know what you might run across.

I now understand why Teach raises poultry. He has to feed his snake (or is that plural). And if that is your "baby", do you have bigger ones?

Dandelion - funny you should mention feeding poultry to snakes. I had logged off, but logged back on to ask Teach if his snake could digest young roosters. If it can, Teach may be amazed at how many we can find for him

I like the mental image of a "celebration of life" for your co-worker. It takes the edge off of a other wise very sad occasion. You will be in my prayers.

Maribeth, so sorry to hear about your coworker

I found this message of condolence & wanted to share it with you:

Like a bird singing in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow

That was a facinating hearing with a lot of folks and a lot of "sound bites" for the media.

Wow, that had to be exciting & stressful at the same time. I am honored to know you

I had to brag to my office coworker that you're a fellow chicken lover.

That is beautiful. I want a reticulated python. I love the way they look like velvet. My husband is scared of snakes though. He won't even let me have any.

All was quiet here last night and it looks like the rain will be a no show today as well. I need the rain like most do but I can do without all the other weather drama.
