I'm headed to bed too. I had a long day enjoying the view from my car. Elgin was fun, but driving for 6 hours wears a girl out. 'Nite all. I'll try to get some pics of the babies tomorrow before I put them outside. They passed out as soon as I turned the kitchen light out. Didn't even try to climb outta the brooder like everything else that has been in it. I have used it for chicken, guineas, ducks, cats, dogs . . .

ETA: to correct spelling. I'm beat and can't type.

too bad they aren't broody, would be interesting to see what hatched... uh oh....considering hatching them...now i'm in trouble!

Thanks for keeping me in your thoughts! Its not getting much better. She is so stubborn and set in her ways and just tunes everything she doesn't want to hear out! Can't get her to eat enough,or at least enough of the good stuff,she will eat chips and littledebbie oatmeal cookies all day, but not touch anything nourshing. She has gotten much more frail. I got her a cane and she won't put it down! At least it helps her balance. She is supposed to go back to the other sister Labor Day. The sil doesn't think she needs to be in a home yet! She won't admit there is even a problem! Make syou just want to strangle them both.! Its really wearing me down.Iam not as patient as I once was and she pushes your patience to the limit!

Here is an obscene pic of its private area...those dark spots are the spurs...the last vestiges of nails left from when snakes had legs and such

That is an 8 ft 20 lds albine burmease python...it can eat a good sized rabbit, chicken, yes cats and little dogs could be on the menu. This is the kind of snake that causes problems in the everglades. It will get big enough to eat a 'gator. It is only about 2 yrs old. They reach 6-7 ft their first year...foot or so for the next few...then slows a little...takes like 20 yrs to reach full maturity...full grown specimens run 20+ ft and 300+ lbs. When it is full grown I will only be able to open the cage and work with it when I have a couple adult men around...just in case!

Why...addiction man addiciton. I just couldn't say no on the price and opportunity. The spurs are too cool. To be able to show that to a kid and have them feel it...awsome opportunity.

hey everybody i just bought a pair of black cochins and had to buy a pair of black langshans (spelled right?) to get them ... don't really have room for the black langshans .. they are just about 10 months old.. plus i have 2 black tailed oe 6 month old roosters.. i'm in the stilwell/tahlequah area.. if no one is interested they are going to the 412 auction labor day weekend.
