Do you mean Buff laced, or Gold? I have blue/splash and some Gold, though I'm not sure yet what I have in the Gold. I have 6 youngsters in the Gold, and I'm only thinking of keeping a trio.
Congrats to your son!

He is looking for a golden laced hen like the roo he has. Here is a picture of him;

Chris,
Congrats on your son winning all the ribbons.
Thats a super accomplishment. It shows that hard work and dedication to a task can pay off.
I'll keep my eyes open for some Polish. I know a lady that has a good mix of them but I am not sure of what kinds and how many.

Put me on the top of your list for any extra Lavender Orp eggs or chicks you may want to sell.

You are the first to ask, so consider yourself the top of the list. Not sure how early next year I'll have anything available, as I want to make sure and produce plenty for myself first...

Okay...that's what I have. They are the same age as my blues and splashes, but for some reason, I find it harder to tell on the golds who is a roo and who is a pullet. I will study them closely tomorrow and see if I can tell.

Congratulations to your son, chris!

[Well...I'm pleased to announce that I will be producing Lavender Orpingtons in the spring. I won an auction on eggbid last night for a pair of split black/lav Orps from the Hinkle's lavender Orp project. I'm so excited!!! wee
I have lots of extra roosters in various breeds I need to re-home...some breeding trios/quads of Sebrights, and some extra Polish youngsters....that all need new homes.

Put me on the top of your list for any extra Lavender Orp eggs or chicks you may want to sell.

Can I be second?

I got 4 Lakenvelders... I love them... a pair of grayish colored banty type... I don't know what they are... but they are really pretty too. Then a mix of black stars, buff orps, barred rocks etc. Like I needed anymore. They are squawking away in my garage...after a snack of oatmeal and electrolyte infused water!! I love them. (Pray for me... I need help!) HA!

I know we all have fairly high standards when it comes to choosing birds, but I wanted to let everyone know that Chickasha Atwoods will be getting a shipment of chicks this week. I will post if I find out the exact date. Their birds come from Ideal Poultry.
