Does anyone hear bottle-feed calves? I have one that is 4 days old and is refusing to eat. I've had them before and they may refuse one feeding but never two in a row. I know he will take the bottle because he did the first two days. He would not eat hardly anything yesterday. I need some advise. I don't want him to die.

ETA: Never mind, he is too far gone now. He will be dead by lunch.

Black Copper Marans hens and pullets is a tall order. I know there are some around.
OKcarla might have an idea iof someone that has some.
I have a friend that just hatched some BCM eggs.
There is a man in Norman that has blue and maybe black coppers.

Well a little bit about myself...I'm 33 an avid Sooner fan....I live in Yukon, Oklahoma...I recently sectioned off the back of my backyard and now have a mini farm..lol....I have total of 12 hens...No ROOS of course because i am inside city limits...all my life i have wanted to have chickens and decided one day i was going to fulfill that dream..So i did....I sit out there for hours watching them and love every minute of it....Of course i am not satisfied with what i have i want more more more...Its a bad addiction....I always say just 2 more....2 more turned into 12..lol....So now my attention has turned to trying to get my hands on 2 Black copper maran pullets or hens.... And currently i have one broody hen sitting on 4 hatchign eggs

I just want to let everyone know that there is only one cabin left to rent for POOPS. Our group has the rest. I would love to have them all rented do we can monopolize the area where our event is being held.
So if anyone is entertaining the thought of staying Saturday night now is the time to get the cabin.
It sleeps four. No bathroom but the big lodge with private showers and bathrooms is right next door.
There are a few other rules and things I will explain later as we get closer to the event.
