Hey Hey :
Found some from a nieghbor who owns a feed store near my house, I was in there getting some info on buying some weanling pig's, and asked him about food grade DE. he just picked up the phone and I will have it Tomorrow, piece of cake.

Tell Mike I can help with the coop, for the sake of the program ya know, get's me out of the house.

Ok, I found an outlet for some DE. Now let's get back to the Cochin bantams. I'll take barred, or mottled. I'll take eggs or chicks if any are available. But I need them at a good price. I don't wanna be someones prom date for a pair of cochins.

LOL!

Stimpy where did you find the DE at?

And Luvs is the Shawnee Mills Co-op in Shawnee? Yeah I know that may seem like a captain obvious question, but it is entirely possible that the co-op isn't in Shawnee. ^_^

I intend to go to the Jones Auction on Saturday but I can't find the post telling about it. Does anyone know what time it starts? Any other info would be greatly appreciated too. Do birds sell with their cages? I am seriously considering taking some chicks, roosters, possibly a few pullets, guineas and turkeys. Do birds sell with their cages?

Yeah, she's one of 5 that I have, and they really turned out to be gorgeous. Good layers too... big fat eggs. They are very sweet too, except one I call the Dragon Queen. When she is on her nest you don't even wanna be in the same zip code! All I gotta do is go in the coop and she starts growling and hollering! But I have one that loves to be cuddled and held. She is my therapist... I flip a bucket over in the coop with a wine and she listens to all my troubles!

Ya gotta love hens.

Ok here we go... Grace offered awhile back to help me identify some birds I got at Cement. I am pretty sure all but the Lake are banties... Let me know what you guys think?

this is the Squeak family... Mr. and Mrs. Squeaky were sold together. I thought they might be older since she was missing some feathers from her tail... but now they are starting to grow back.

Don't know what this one is... I am assuming a roo... he is not crowing but hackles up when I grab him... seems he could be aggresive, but so far is OK.

This is definately a roo... crowing... or trying to! It's pretty sad, but he makes an effort. Sweet roo.

This is one of my Lakenvelder pullets... I got 3 hens and a roo. Didn't care for them at first cause they seem to be on the nervous side... but sincde they have really grown on me. I was going to try to resale them, but have decided to keep them for sure. My husband is in LOVE with the Squeak family and is actually building them their own house and run. Men... go figure.

As a matter of fact, I do. We bought hatching eggs of several breeds of turkeys this year because Gerald wants to raise them. We mostly have Narragansett, Boubon Red, Royal Palm and Blue Slate, and a couple of Chocolate, but I have one tom that is about 3 months old that is a Bronze turkey. I hatched him from eggs I bought earlier this year. I was intending to take him to the Jones Auction this Saturday night .... or $15 to a BYC Okie ... special delivery to the Jones Auction
