As a matter of fact, I do. We bought hatching eggs of several breeds of turkeys this year because Gerald wants to raise them. We mostly have Narragansett, Boubon Red, Royal Palm and Blue Slate, and a couple of Chocolate, but I have one tom that is about 3 months old that is a Bronze turkey. I hatched him from eggs I bought earlier this year. I was intending to take him to the Jones Auction this Saturday night .... or $15 to a BYC Okie ... special delivery to the Jones Auction

Hey Carla,
Put me on the list for a few Bourbon Red eggs next spring. I wanna try my hand at raising a few turkeys.

Looks to me like OEG's, maybe. Am I seeing some dubbed combs on a couple of the roosters? "Sweet Roo" looks like a red pyle OEG, to me.

Wow! Thanks Dutch!! I went to a website of OEGs and that's them!! Dang, I really appreciate your taking the time to view the pix and reply. Now what am I gonna do with Bantam OEGs?

HA! That Red Pyle is beautiful. Looks like a mini-red bourbon turkey! I dunno about the dubbing. One looks like a rose comb to me. They seem to be decent birds, but always heard that OEGs were flighty and aggressive. Hubby wants to build banty cops and runs, but I am dragging my feet. Might just sell em at the next auction. Thanks again, Dutch I appreciate it!!

We just started with turkeys this year, but we will most likely sell & ship eggs when they begin to lay next year.

We do have chicken hatching eggs we sell & ship all over the country right now, some now on ebay.

Hennypennies,
They do look like OEG's except the BB red one has white ear lobes. There are a million and one varieties of OEGs but I am not sure any have white lobes.
Also, are you sure the ones you are calling Lakenvelders are pure? The ones I had had solid black necks. The golden Lakenvelders I owned had black streaks mixed with gold in their necks. These look more like a Brahma. Do they have feathered feet? Just curious.

I would LOVE to have some more Bourbons or Blue slates, where is Tuttle located in Oklahoma?

I agree with Monty....Looks like white earlobes on some, which would probably mean Dutch Bantams. They don't look like the best quality if they are Dutch...probably hatchery birds. Pure Dutch only come in a few colors, but Ideal has them in about 18 different colors....they crossed in OEG's to create the colors. Rosecombs are not typical of either OEG's or Dutch....so they could be crossed with Rosecombs maybe.....I don't know. Dubbing of the rooster's combs could make them look like they have rosecombs, but the hens aren't typically dubbed so I don't know. I know Dutch really well as they are the ones that started my obsession into breeding true, quality breeds, but I don't know OEG's real well.
But the important thing is, do you like the birds? If you do, who cares what they are?! LOL
