I KNOW HE HAS BLUE LACED WYANDOTTES DO NOT KNOW IF TRIO OR PAIR. HE HAS OTHERS TO.

WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT HE HAS MONDAY.

WILL SEE SOME OF YOU AT CEMENT OR FLETCHER

Cammie Got cha!Lol. I told my wife,"Oh Al and Cammie will be packing their bags for a fishing trip to Tennessee before you can blink an eye! Lol. Sorry I just couldn't pass up the chance for some fun.Sounds like we need it today! I had 3 brothers in the Air Foprce,1 in the navy,I was Army, and a brother-in-law was marine so I have heard it all and it just goes in one ear and out the other. Now if you was to start bad mouthing cops I might get a little hot!LOl
I think the heavyier breeds are better winter layers than the lighter breeds. And the bantams usually just take a vacation during the winter!
Darned hawk was back and pulled one pigeon thru the wire and killed it. How in the world can they reach their feet inthru the wire and grab a bird! I have to chase them around just to catch one with two hands.

I don't know if we're even going to go to an auction this Saturday. Gerald is still very unhappy that they wouldn't let him sell his veggies at Cement .... so .... he doesn't ever want to go back.

I have one brother that was air force and one that was navy. Mom was always proud of all of us. Secretly tho, I think she liked me best.

Carla, why wouldn't they let him sell his veggies?

Actually, they said since they aren't "poultry related" they would sell them at the end of the auction. Unfortunately, at the end of the auction, only a few die-hard buyers are left ... so no sale

We took those veggies home, what we didn't sell or give away in the parking lot ... and our poultry sure think veggies are the best! At least my birds think the veggies are poultry related. I don't even need to cut the veggies up, I just roll a whole canteloupe, tomato, cucumber etc. in each pen and they chase and attack it ... no evidence is left after a few minutes.

I wish I had a video camera to show how a herd of chickens, turkeys and guineas will chase down the canteloupes. It is so funny to watch ... of course they can't compare to our Chickendale singers/dancers that performed Saturday night.

I was under the weather a bit the last few days ... just chills and aches & pains, but no other symptoms, so I went on to work anyway.

I don't get it. So many of these auctions will sell everything from furniture to car parts to garage sale leftovers. How are they "poultry related"? Having to set thru that crap is why I don't go to many auctions. I'd actually like to buy a few farm-fresh veggies, but they won't sell those.

The most frustrating thing in my life is that as I get older I keep running into more and more crap that I just don't understand. Didn't we all like it better when we were 19 and knew everything?

Carla - I guess I didn't realize that they told Gerald that at Cement. That's too bad, everyone went crazy over his veggies last time I was there! And there's no way that pigs are poultry related...

My doc is workin on the whole stone prevention thing right now. My body keeps making them, I've no potassium or citrate! First time I ever got one they ended up doin two emergency procedures. Knocked me out and removed it. After that these little ones just don't bother me that much. Lol
