I was underway, (USS-Cook, FF-1083) off the coast of northern California, when gulf war version #1 happened, and our captain took us to Canada.....<G>
we watched it on CNN, 5 knots the whole way, escorting de-commed subs to bremerton Wa......BORING

I can march a whole lot futher than I can swim, that water is deep and cold... besides, there's things in there that can eat ya

I'm with Buster. Anyone who can't take a little teasing is wound too tightly. If I took offense every time I was called a Jarhead by some bus driver, or squid or mudbug, i wouldn't have time to get mad about all the real crap I run into every day.

Monty - When I had all my birds, they actually started laying for the first time in the winter. I fed the 'fancy scratch' kind of mix too, with the corn. I fed about cup per pair; keeps em warm!

Oh and thanks for the weather info. I love a little exciting weather, kinda bummed that it doesn't sound like we're gonna get any. I did have a tornado dream last night though.

dachsunds - TOO funny!!! You had us all excited, gee... You really had guppies in your koi pond? How big did they get in there??

Mallen - Ooh creep creepy... I am TERRIFIED of the water, or what's in it that I can't see I guess. I love to fish, and I can be in a boat, but even the thought of getting in the water makes me panic. And I can swim just fine!
