I get your point about bid-rigging, though. Thanks for the info. Seems like a lot of trouble for someone to go through for the relatively low dollar items sold at a poultry auction, but I see how it could become a problem.

But I still don't get that kind of negativity in an ad unless you are talking about an ambulance chasing lawyer.

The bid rigging is better known as shill bidding and every auction has one or two that just run things up to be doing it. Teva can spot one of those yahoos a mile off and sometimes she breaks off and they get to spend some money!

Maybe that's what happened with my Hova-bator. I paid way more for it than I thought I would.

My curiosity is now piqued. I'm going to see if I can learn how to spot these guys. Any hints?

Any other tips will cost you LOL.
