Thank you very much.

I'm glad your newly acquired Cochin banties and Silkies are different varieties than ours! They are very nice.

Oh goody, Q! I am so glad you finally caved in to all the Okie peer pressure and submitted to at least having your name added to the list. (You covered yourself well with the "depending on the weather" line!)

Dandelion - I laughed out loud really hard at your post about sporting goods stores and fruit stands - very funny!! I didn't take the time to find it to quote or give the post #, but I was in a seminar when I saw it and had to cover my mouth to keep from disrupting the session. I should know by now not to surf BYC while working, but I just can't stay away!

Anyway, Dandelion - that was a funny post.

Nothing was mentioned about a "showmanship" class, as a
class in it's self. But, in a Table Show, obviously, there is some
"showmanship" involved in actually "showing" your bird. And,
we always throw a net in....LOL...more than one kid will
lose their bird...LOL

They'll call for "Bantam Feather Legged Cocks"..... each kid that
has one entered will carry their bird to the table. (I don't have
a clue how many birds will be entered in this show, so they
may call for Bantam Feather Legged Cocks and Cockrels".....
or may be all of them, cocks, cockrels, hens, and pullets.....
all depends on how many birds show up.) Since the kids
will be handling their birds, they could only handle one bird
at a time. I asked Mr. Clovis how many birds he was expecting,
and his reply was, "We don't know, but there weren't
that many at the recent Okemah Show.".....so they're clueless.
In turn, so are we.

So, we're thinking, if we go........two kids, two birds per
division.....may throw in a few extras in case there is a good
turnout and they are broken up into more classes.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.........life in Na-Naville.........................

Have a good one !

Here lately ive lost several younger chickens. Ive thought it was the weather but now im not so sure. I heard what sounded like sneazing coming from at least 2 of them and a few looked "mopey" I guess you would say. Any idea what this is and how to treat it? Ive lost most all my jap bantams to this and several blue orps. I cant stand to lose anymore.

Is that a discussion for the possibility of a show at Cement???

Still needing Environmental Science internship ideas, if anyone's got any. Its alot harder to find one than I thought it'd be.

how about a company that sprays poop on fields or has its own water treatment facility??? PM me

Monty - previous rules of selling at Shawnee...the chicken folks care less if you are entered or not they charge like $3 a cage or something like that...the pigeon people on the other hand are as about snotty as they come!

I just stepped out side and with all the fog it looks like I'm living on a bloody moor. No walking across the hills with a flashlight tonight.

It could be a scene straight from An American Werewolf in London!

I've been lookin over photos of these modern games and to me they just look odd. Maybe when I see them in person I'll think differently but I dunno, those long legs just set me back a bit. I'm not sure why the developers of modern games would have went for the long legged look, is there a purpose??

You have a PM.
