Hens tend to hide colors (especially blue), so if you have some unexpected offspring show up it's from background colors.

I'm working with recessive wheaten, but I think the colors behave the same.

We have a little auction war going on around here this weekend, 3 auctions very close by all competing for the same group, so it will be interesting to hear the reports on Sunday morning. It would be fun and informative if we started a after auction report kinda like a radio farm report on beef and grain prices. Only ours would be Poultry, what they had, types, #'s and what the market was from auction to auction each month. I think all of us could benifit from something like that, we kinda do a little one on the Sunday after auctions. I think I may hit Cement this Saturday, it's close but on my way there I will peek in on Fletcher to watch the buzzards circle hehehehe.

My wife and i are thinking about going to the Fletcher auction for the free bugers and hot dogs Cement is on the way.
Haven't been to the Cement Auction before not sure where it is at in Cement
might go to the Blanchard auction not sure at this time

Good morning OKIES in the BYC!!!! Hope everyone is having a great day today!!! I am still trying to find a way to get to Fayettville this weekend!!!! I found out that the 4-h thing isnt until Sunday so I am trying to get the DW talked into it but she says we dont have the money, but I know the real reason is that she thinks that I am going to go down and buy more chickens and that she wants to get the land cleared behind us but I am thinking all work and no play makes Big Q grouchy LOL!!! Hope everyone has a great day!!!
