I've read horror stories. The laws and regs are set up to favor the big guy. That's one reason it has been so hard to get a small time poultry processor in this state. I hope for the best, but this new guy has his work cut out for him.

There is nothing wrong with a little healthy skepticism any time a government agency is involved, no matter how well intentioned the laws, regs, or those who carry them out. It bears watching, that's all I'm saying.

Ronald Reagan said "the scariest thing you can ever hear is 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help you'".

"I'm proud to be an Okie from Muskogee!"
Well, Chickasha, but the only song about Chickasha is one no one knows. Lol

Hey, the same people who dislike being called Okies are so darn proud of the Sooners Football Team! I am a freakin OU Sooner, but I don't call myself a cheater!

KT : At the tip try unscrewing it, then slide the blade in and retighten. If it is that type of scalpel, kinda like an Exacto blade.

Isn't that what they say before they disect aliens?

Hey if you think Okie is offensive, a few of my inlaws think the term 'redneck' is something to brag about. I don't know about ya'll, but I thought that one was to be an insult.

But I guess if you look at it historically, there's something about rednecks being a select few who didn't run from a certain battle... I'm not much into history.

I am a Texan (to be specific I would be a Fightin' Texas Aggie!!!)...but I like it when folks around here call me an Okie! I'll stand up for any of them...these are good folks.

I will be in and out guys! Thanks for the thoughts...start looking at what you might save me for Shawnee...I have permission to restock!!! Monty...shamos...mine deps! Carla...lots of needs will email or something when I can really think...trying to think of other stuff folks and it gets garbeled and mixed and...hospitals suck...

I think people here DO know the history of the term, but we no longer recognize it as an insult. My family also stuck out the Dust Bowl in the Panhandle of Oklahoma, and we are proud to be Okies. It's not an insult if you're not insulted by it.

We are a bunch of friendly people here - we welcome you if you'd like to hang out and talk chicken!

Cammie - by the way...that mechanical bull riding thing...that was hot! My family is freaked by the fact I consider myself a redneck...hello...I have the double wide dream! I think they are jealous. They were disturbed whenwe called our oldest Bubba...if you saw his baby pictures that is what you would call him!

Shawn - if you care to 'member I ditched scouting first...and I had been in it longer than many! That was a message totally unrelated to everything and is sure to confuse everyone!!!
