Oh! Ok, guess I should pay a little more attention to what I'm reading. Lol. I knew a little while back they were going to have a meeting regarding having a show, but I never heard anything else about it.

Has anyone heard from Carla today? Wondering how Gerald is doing.

Well last year at Shawnee there was a woman from out of state who owned almost all of the Silkies at the show... But there were only a few that really impressed me. Hey I thought you said you were gonna skip out on Shawnee???

Oh but I forgot last year was the Silkie Club show. Looks like this years is Brahmas, one of my former loves.

I could scan a copy and email it to you & Grace.

Grace, I'll bring yours to the next PC meeting but that way you will have the scanned copy right now.

I have looked in the APA and ABA Standards and cannot find anything regarding unrecognized breeds. I'm beginning to get very discouraged. You just never know. I've just started to look for rare breeds that are already in the Standards. It seems kind of pointless to bring a bunch of birds that don't have real chances to excel. I think the only exception is the Seramas and they seem to be on the brink of being added. Not the variety that we have but the breed at least.

The cockerel got Reserve Breed on the first show and the pullet got Reserve Breed on the second show. The trio that we got there is really nice too. One of the pullets has got a really good tail. (according to the conversation I had with J. Bates) I'm not sure who will get to show those 3 yet. Corey really likes her Moderns.

Silent auction was great. Although Kendra would probably disagree. Everything she bid on went skyhigh. There was one pair of BTW Japs in the auction. I though of you but they weren't really nice so I didn't bid. The little girl, Echo, from Eufaula with the White Cochin Bantams got them.

The girls keep taking all of mine. I'm sticking with the Shamos though. They are cool. (Thanks Again, Monty!)

I've been working on the Shawnee entry form. With all of the new birds, it's going to cost a small fortune to enter them all.
