Foghorn, you should go to the next Cement auction! I don't know if it will run as late as last time, but they didn't start the poultry until 6. The next one's March 1st.

I put my new roosters with the rest of the flock today. It went over well, they all went to the coop together when it got dark!

What a cute picture!!! How old is she, she is just too cute! Sorry about the roo.

He is a proud boy, but I didn't think that would happen. If it isn't going to work out for you just let me know and I can come get him, no problem. Maybe a younger roo would be better to start with. I could probably get you one from my aunt and uncle, they've got Lorps.

hey Cammie....nah........I have him in pen now.that will be his along with the my Australorp hens...........he won't be with any other roo again......... I just felt bad for both the roo's.......... they KNOW they do not belong together.....its us silly humans that makes mistakes....
Hope you do good on you selling things........... Emma turned 3 in Sept........she is my Angel for sure. my hope and lifeline these days.............she loves chicken shows too .......

Is any one going to Prague this Friday ? I will be if I am not in jail for killing my husband. ( long chicken story) however he still wants to go and I said only way is if I have another pen set up by then ( just in case) so we shall see.

I really think you should sell them and invest the proceeds into your Chicken Empire. What sex are the Rouen and Mallard. If this lady doesn't want the muskovies and you don't want to sell them at the auction, then I would consider taking them off of your hands.

Okie, I talked to a friend of mine that is going to be bringing a bunch of Moderns to the show in Newcastle on the 23rd.
If you are wanting some show quality birds it would be a good time to get some. This guys daughter shows them and she wins every where she goes. She was the big winner at Shawnee. Sell the ducks save your pennies and you can buy some.
