Well J took me to dinner tonight after he finished work and spent his hour at the gym. I enrolled at OCCC for Spring 2010 to get my science and math requirements out of the way. Not sure if I want to continue the degree program I'm in, or switch to a different one. These two classes will help me base my decision a little bit... see if I can "make it" through a 5 credit Chem course and a Trig course. I have a funny feeling that I'll be twitching and all that jazz by the middle of the semester. It's been 11 years since high school chemistry...

Good evenin everyone!!! Just got back from the gym my DD and I went down and played some Basketball and then done some walking and a little and I mean a little jogging lol, the Dr said that everything looked great except for my weight so that was enough to influence me to get some of this weight off!!!
My niece has followed through with pressing domestic assault charges which in turn turned into a felony since the children were present and witnessed the assault so I am calmed down and gonna let the law take care of it and make sure that her and her kids are safe and taken care, once again I want to Thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers!!!

It is official - my incubator is turned off for the Winter. The last group of duck eggs didn't make it out, so I am going to refrain from setting any more until the Spring.
Of course, I still have two keets in a brooder in the living room, so I am not out of the "baby poultry" business until they can go outside without heat.

Evening Q glad to hear you are working on the weight! I know it will be hard but it will be worth it in the long run!

I am so glad your neice is going forward, I hope she stays the course. You are great to help her too!

Hey Big Q! Basketball sounds way more fun than jogging to me, too! Glad the Dr. says you're looking good - it takes a few days of torture to get into the excercising groove but it's worth it once you get into that routine! Good luck - every little bit helps (so I've heard...typed as I lie here on the sofa...)

Okay P&B...I'm making a note on my desk calendar: "On this 25th Day of November, in the year 2009, Poultryand bees hereby stated her full intention to cease and desist from hatching fowl of Any Sort in her incubator for the remainder of this calendar year." So it is written, so let it be done. (Unless you get some really cool eggs that you just can't let get by - then all proclamations are off!!)

Oh come on now P&B ... what better way to think spring than hatching chickies in the wintertime!

They are sure to take away those winter blues

If you go to the Blanchard auction on Saturday, there surely will be some hatching eggs that you can't do without ... I can bring some if needed

I for sure need to go to the Blanchard auction. There are 4 turkey poults in the bedroom brooder that are a month old now ... and then at least a hundred chicks in other brooders. If not Blanchard .... I need to sell some at the Shawnee show ???? silkie chicks ~ silver sebright chicks ~ NN (turken chicks) & some are FRIZZLE NN's!!!!

I was trying to think of what kind of eggs might sway me from my declaration as I was writing it - unless I get about 3 dozen button quail eggs, I think I can resist.... or some wheaten maran eggs
