I still have a mean cold, but I have decided to adopt the "better living through chemistry" philosophy, so all is okay. I have tried to figure out a way to be at Shawnee, but since I have to be in Tulsa at 10:00 a.m. that Saturday, it doesn't look good. I'll keep watching old Star Trek episodes for an answer just in case. Much of today's technology was forecast by Star Trek, so I believe that tells me it's possible I could someday be in two places at once...of course, one of me would be Evil, but whatever.

You could have BBFJ fill in for you at the Tulsa gig.

Ah yes - the islands are also covered - good one, Tara!

OK, here's the plan. Saturday morning you slip Jack a mickey and put him in a dress. Then drop him off wherever you're supposed to be that morning and then hit the road for Shawnee. By the time he Jack wakes up, the deal in Tulsa will be over and heck, you can get another boyfriend anywhere. There may even be a candidate or two at the show.

Betsy ,she is on the Mannford side.

I went out to put up the outside lights and thought I had frozen my finger tips off!

; Circulation must not be the best or maybe its the thin blood. Had to come in and warm. Now I need to go back and feed and water the clucks and finish the lights. May have to do like Sooner and build a bon-fire!

I should no longer be allowed to research chicken breeds. After thinking about Dorkings, and really wanting them, I know I'll try to hatch some. But I'm also debating standard size buff brahmas.

I need more breeds like I need extraneous holes in my head.

My BF is so observant, just today he noticed that one of the stags I put on a tie cord was no longer on his tie cord. Mind you, I released the stag a couple of days ago and BF helps me feed & water everyone.

I love buff brahmas. I had a few but sold them in my effort to downsize. I miss having them.

I will again, in a few years.

And standard gold laced cochin.
big_smile.png
Or maybe by then someone would have developed gold laced brahmas and I can haz the best of both worlds.

Oh! A chance for me to learn something!! Why brahmas vs. cochins?

They are both great breeds, gentle giants (talking standard size here). Brahmas are not as heavily feather footed as the cochin, and they have "tighter" feathering so they bear the elements a bit better (not as "fluffy").
