Okay, I've got to change clothes and get out there and rake out the chicken run. I am going down to visit my TX parents for a few days and I have a "chicken care training session" to conduct in an hour...want to make it look nice and neat for this fellow so he'll be more likely to help in the future!

You make a valid argument there City...what part of TX are you headed to...heck any part is great...well that Southern part gets kinda warm in summer...see just have a misdirection and end up in Shawnee this weekend...You will be driving by anyways! And those job things are way over rated!!

I bought some bantam brahmas at Shawnee one year for like $10 per bird...maybe $15...it was toward the end. Just cuz it gets closer to the end doesn't always mean good prices...there are some folks that will not go down...

Oh, I know that they don't go down sometimes... a good bird is gonna cost the same at 8 am and 5 pm. *shrug* It depends on if I can find decent birds within my price range. If I can't or if they're already sold, then

I'm not gonna fall over and die if I don't get them.

Besides, there are silkies in Monty's bator that are ALL MINE

. So I'll be alright

Oh, and I don't want bantam buff brahmas.

Grace I know that you have heard this a million times but congrats on Picture of the week, beautiful bird!!! On the same note of beautiful birds I had a coon attack last night that got my Black Ameracauna, the weird thing is that the coon was found dead in the pen this morning and that is the only bird that was killed, I move the rest of the Ameracaunas and EE to another pin and going to dismantle that one in case of diesease anyone have any thoughts on this? Oh and one more time I have a Quail D'Anver that I am willing to give away but I must say that he is a little feisty!!!!
