I agree, don't need to rush him, i know my mopsy- tired of hearing about her?

well it took almost 4 months of massaging and care to where she could get around, but she gets around with a little limp- don't know what exactly happened as it happened before i got her- but eventually in massaging her i found a knot, and worked on it a few days, and that seemed to be the problem- because once that unkinked she began walking better- warm baths, massages and generally making sure she had extra vitamins, calcium etc

Oh I am having a brain fart, but the Tractor store, I think Tractor and Supply. Anyways, it has the unmedicated feed and it is a lot cheaper than Atwood's medicated feed.

And when comparing feed prices be sure to note that Atwoods sells 40 pound bags of feed, not 50.

Yeah Less good point not many folks know that there 40 lb bags I figured it out a few yrs ago what a scam.

Yeah, the ones I get at the Tractor store is 50 lb and if I get 20 bags or more at a time they give me another 10% off. Even if I get 10 bags of one thing and 10 of another, still get the 10% off just for anybodies info. My sister just recently also started working at one and just called me the other night and told me her family members get a 15% discount even sisters, yay for me! Especially since I am almost out of feed I am going to need to go and get more and use that 15% this time and won't have to get 20 bags, woohoo.

Beginning to really hate the 3gal waterer I have for the chooks. It's hard to get the ice popped out of it to get fresh (hot) water through it to get it going again. If I had the cash I'd pick up the rubber water dishes but that's not gonna happen for another 2 weeks. This paycheck went to killer medical bills (my neck has a vertebrae out of place). *sigh* But the chooks love seeing me twice a day... means that they're much more likely to get a hot mash out of me at least once a day

I need to re-insulate my house, but it's so old that that it'd be cheaper to take out the drywall room by room, replace the insulation batts, and put up new drywall. That's a project for this spring.... starting with my daughter's room while she's in Dallas for spring break visitation. I'm getting really tired of such a high heat or a/c bill for a 2 bedroom house. I don't even want to think about insulating the attic...

My brother in law is a foreman for an insulation company, so he'll help me with the attic. Just gotta figure out when and cough up the money for it.

I understand the insulation concerns. Our heating bills last year were over $500/month. I am not sure what they are this year, but we are trying to stay mostly in one room of the house this year (living room) and keep it the warmest with minimal heating in the rest of the house. Also using space heaters to keep the gas bill down. We don't have central heating or anything fancy. When we have guests over I just try to start baking things an hour or two before hand to also help heat the kitchen and dining rooms. Otherwise, we are keeping most of the doors closed to all of the rooms and lower heating in the bedrooms with heating blankets on the beds. From what I can tell on the bills so far it is working. We will see this next month though, when I get the bill for when we were all home these last few weeks. Unfortunately, I don't think we can add insulation to the attic until we rewire this old house. It has the very old wiring where you can see them on the beams up in the attic and seems like they would be a fire hazard if we covered them with insulation. Maybe Al has some recommendations, because I am still trying to figure that one out.
