I don't have a sharp stick. I was taking care of things around here ,then sat down and watched a little football. Took a short nap.
Went out and checked the frozen tundra birds. Watered and added feed to the feeders.
Came in and fixed supper, watched part of the OU women's BBall game. Made some brownies and then sat down here.

No sharp sticks involved. Sorry if you felt poked.

That is great! I had so much food today I am stuffed. Thawing out a ham to cook tomorrow night.

Evening Everybody,

I'm on a mission to help a student's granny re-home 5 or 6 roosters. I agreed to take them and see if I can place them for her. I'll post some pictures tomorrow night, just in case anyone needs another rooster. (This is where I'm supposed to post one of the Smilies, but I'm not sure which one is appropriate.)

I've no clue what I'm picking up tomorrow, except that one is all white, one is all black, and some are brownish. I'm assuming they are standard chickens. I think one may be a Cochin, as she described it as having feathers all down its legs.

Carah....finally got those heaters under the water pans. I hope it works cause it sure as heck is cold out there. I was so cold when I came in couldn't feel my legs. At that moment I could have put a for sale sign outside each chicken pen.

Have you had any problem with the chickens tipping the water over? One small bucket that Rich put on started sliding....wondering if we need to take sandpaper and rough the lids up.

Got 2 5gal. feeders fixed up....got several more to work on. I'm off work tomorrow so I'll have time to finish them. I certainly hope this makes life simpler.

Hello Matt, I didn't work too hard just stayed busy. Even taking a nap took some effort. I have to sleep with one eye open so I can see what my ten year old is up to.
. I'd poke Al now but I might wake him up.

Care of black clothes... wash with other black clothes in *cold* water with a *mild* detergent. When you dry them, don't leave them in the dryer until they're bone dry... remove them and hang them when they are only slightly damp. If they are supposed to "match" (pants/shirt), make sure they are washed together so one doesn't get washed more often than the other. When they fade, use RIT black dye and re-dye them. Black clothes are supposed to look black, not gray.

I wear primarily black. It matches everything and I can change accessories and look different than yesterday, even if I work black pants and a black long sleeved shirt yesterday, I wear a different scarf, a scarf belt, and different jewelry.
