Hello Okies,
We got out and about this morning, fed chickens, ducks, pheasants, quail, goats and the horse... They are all so spoiled... Got 2 RIR eggs and 2 Duck Eggs... Things are starting to look up...

I had my husband working on one of my chicken pens and I guess he decided to take a break while I wasnt looking...he is definetly FIRED!!!!
Oh, Well, Guess I will just have to show him and take a break myself, warm up some coffee and greet the Okies...

I would definetly like to have more information on the POOPS.... Time, place, What happens at them and ????

Uh Oh!!! Mom said we just got caught lofin on the job...Hubby back... Got to run....LOL

Someone a few pages back gave a link to the thread that was from the fall POOPS that gives a list of the events that took place that day beyond that you can look at the pictured in my signature line & go from there.

Howdy ya'll !

Started packing for the big move. Can't wait to be out of the city and on some nice quiet land....I haven't heard a frog in years!! No one should have to go through that.

Going to be great to be set up before spring....

Headed to Lowes today to price and hope to buy a window for the upcoming coop. Had a fried egg this morning and tried to pretend it was fresh.....

Man! It took me Forever to catch up! Good morning (for a few more minutes), Okies!

I have returned from Texas. My dad Tom had colon/gall bladder removal surgery and they discovered he has Stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to his liver and lungs. He has decided against treatment and says he's going to just forget he has cancer. He is looking forward to recuperating from surgery and will continue to live every day with a grateful heart.

I know I'm way behind, but here's my 2 cents on motorcycles: Both my parents rode when we were kids - they took me and my brother to school on their bikes in the 70s. My brother rides a bike to work in Washington DC traffic when the weather allows. My best friend has ridden her whole life - and she owns the Thunder Roads biker magazine franchises in OK and AR. My dad had a motorcycle when he was a teenager. My dad's only brother and a friend borrowed his bike one afternoon and were killed - they were 15 years old. I have had friends die on their motocycles, and I have friends who will never be the same, physically or mentally, due to motorcycle accidents. No matter how responsible, experienced or careful you are, in the car vs. motorcycle battle, the car will win every time, and you can never be responsible, experienced or careful enough to avoid the cager who doesn't see you. I vote No.

I know you can't wait. I lived in Midwest City for three years after having lived out in the boonies for 30.
I couldn't wait until I got out of the city.
N ow when I am outside there is no one looking over the fence at me.

That's so sad and I'm sorry to hear. My grandfather passed away a year ago due to brain cancer. He went in because he was having bloody noses, something I remember him having for years prior. Something so routine turned into something so complicated. It's tough. You can only turn to the big chicken lover in the sky and ask for more time.

Buck, yup, I was raised on a little urban farm and moved to OKC with the wife. Wish I could take that one back.......oh and maybe not have moved either lol. Guess I'm stuck with one of those choices.....

Same thing here....I'm already a social blunder, I'd rather not live with someone 10ft away.

City is back

I live in town but my town is the boonies so it is kinda ok....not...we will wait. Will not be living in town forever...I got plenty of birds though and dothings that are kinda non city allowed!

Y'all be good. I am headed to lunch.

I say get the bike...chicks dig it! (That will just cause mom to not want to allow it more....reverse psychology. they learned me that in school!)
