Ok I caught up!

I have been a busy little guy today! Tried to rid the world of coyotes this morning. Moved a shed with a buddy that my wife wouldn't let me have for more birds

Then we put new brakes on his wifes van...that took two trips to town (20 miles each way) Nice feller bought me supper! Played with the birds. Only had one bird hatch today...I think something bad happened

I am with the group in that if KOA will be a better choice due to facilities I am game...besides it is like 1/2 hour or so closer. That is probably a good idea about the raffle and silent auction thing...no need for you to take a hickey on a good thing and plus everyone has a chance and sounds good to me. I think I am going to be in the market for EE bantams cuz I don't think my eggs are gonna hatch...I am

I keep wiping the bator window with my nose.

I just got back from some bball games.
I am rechecking with KOA Monday to know for sure if having chickens there is OK. The manager said yes but she wanted to double check witht he owners before giving a definite answer.
I plan to go to Lexington Monday night to the auction and to check out the place.

That was quite a drive. Sometimes they have a lot of poultry sometimes not. I live about ten miles from there.

It would make it alot easier if all the poultry owners in Oklahoma just got on here, and posted what they had to sell, trade, they none of us would have to drive to an auction/swap just to find nothing there....of course then we wouldnt get to go to the auctions, so maybe thats not a good idea either....

Swapping among ourselves could also help us be sure we are getting healthy birds. Until I get my NPIP certification, I am not going to buy any more birds at auctions, since I don't want to have to keep them quarantined indefinately until I can get them NPIP tested by someone else.

I agree, all of the birds that I have gotten from our members here have been excellent. I am always afraid when I see that bird that I just have to have at an auction, because of what else that bird my have. I guess thats why I normally only buy from people that I have dealt with in the past at auctions.
