That will be great Al. I did not get a chance to talk to Laura last Saturday, hopefully I can make it to the Fletcher Auction and we can get a chance to talk then.

For shure.

I set the dozen I got in CVille on Sunday afternoon. They've only been in the incubator four days, so I probably won't candle them until Monday. Have you candled yours?

No I set them late Sat but haven't went to candle them yet. I have them in the incubator at the neighbors house. I will get up there sometime next week to candle the one's that we set earlier in the month & take a look at the one's from Collinsville. I will most likely only keep some of the EE's

I had a great day at work too, which does NOT come often! I finished welding one of my tables and that felt good. Then I had to cut the plywood for the top and I hate sawdust in my welding area, it just doesn't feel right.

What breed is your extra roo? I'm not getting a steady supply of eggs yet, but I bet by the beginning of March I'll have more fertile eggs than I'll know what to do with. If you wanted several breeds, I could probably come up with a dozen or more faster. This strange weather has my hens confused. I've set some of the eggs collected on days when the temperatures were above freezing, so I'm expecting to see my first group for this season hatching around February 26th. What breed(s) would you like eggs for?

I will haul eggs & roo if you guys work something out. Could get the eggs Thurs or Friday before I leave & return with the roo.

Need to get rid of 2 of my 4 MFC cockerels. They are the noisier two, and I'm supposed to be on the down-low. They are free, they just need to GO.

Not looking to buy any more, except maybe a brown egg layer that lays nice big eggs consistently (like Lucky the black star does).

Will be collecting and hatching MFC chicks for the gathering on May Day. Might bring some MFC eggs if I have any.
