Double show means just that. Two shows. Twice the judging, twice the prizes.
Basically the same bird could win two 1st places (or whatever places).
ANY bird in the Open show gets judged twice and placed twice.
It's like two shows minus the driving time of one!

The max number of entries is just 800 (I would like bigger shows!), but the ones they had last time were pretty great birds

I thought it was all weekend, which would have required a 2 night stay.

It's a 4 hour drive for me, well, 3 hours and 39 minutes give or take...that's not including the 2 hour drive back from Fayetteville to Claremore.

Nicoe i hope you get a great hatch, i forget, how many eggs did you set. I sure did learn alot about incubating with this one hatch. I kept humidity in the 40s during incubation and raised it in the 60s for hatch but man it climbed so high after they were zipping my hydrometer got soaked and quite working. So next time i wont be so nosey and just leave it alone.

Hey Teach. Sorry to hear about the bad hatch. Did you check teh eggs? did they develope at all? I will be glad to send out a new batch for half the postage if you want. I had another person have a good hatch so I am sure they are good and fertile. Just let me know.
