I'll have to debate that one

We'll see how it goes. Glad you like the chicks, and thanks again for the feeders!

The whole time growing up we had chickens and we NEVER had a sick bird. I didn't know they got sick. Then I started reading here and decided to try raising some again. You guys were always asking Les about this illness or that, and I thought what is wrong with all these peoples birds. Chickens don't get sick like that. Since I gotten these I've had wounded chickens in the house, I've learned how to give shots, I've even bought a saddle. I like the chickens I grew up with better.

That's why I like my american games and oriental games so much.

We just got back from Blanchard & took some black copper marans roos, 2 narragansett toms, 1 blue slate tom, a pair of royal palm turkeys, silver sebrights, a blue & red frizzle turken rooster, white silkies, partridge silkies, 2 belgiam quail d'anvers cockerals, and a golden cuckoo marans rooster.

Already consigned are a pair of bourbon red turkeys, quite a few buff orpington hens and RI red hens, 3 pairs of silver phoenix, 3 pairs of belgian quail d'anvers, and a bunch of other birds that look good.

Also, there's at least 5 bottle calves there.

Gerald will take hatching eggs and some chicks just before the auction begins. I can't go

I'll be stuck at work.

Ooh turkeys, silkies and calves . . . it may be worth the trip. Doeas Blanchard accept anything other than cash. DH took all the cash with him. I will have to get some if I need it.

Probably the most interesting thing I have ever had in the Magic Poultry Van was a full grown Shetland Sheep Ram - in a huge dog crate. Right now, I just have a cage that hasn't yet come out after the Fletcher auction, a case of raw honey and a bunch of jars of spun honey that I bought from a beekeeper in Noble today.

My drug of choice for water type medicating is LS-50 but it is pricey. About 30 dollars a bottle. It comes in dry powder form and you use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water and use that as a sole source of water for 7 days.

I get mine online form Smith's game bird supply out of Ks. because they offer overnight shipping and when you call them you actually talk to the owners of the company.

I have a packet of the generic LS-50 on standby ... Jerr-man, if you need it I could have Gerald take it to the auction & you can have it for what we paid for it, and I'll order more.

You can write a check at the Blanchard auction.

Good to see you, Pepper! When the list of all the Okies was posted the other day, I saw your name and wondered where you have been.
