J and I went to see Avatar in 3D for the second time today. That's a pretty good movie! I also desperately need to finish cleaning my living room, but I don't forsee that happening...

Some people just bought the house next door that had been foreclosed on. They seem to be very nice, the man also told me that they used to own chickens until some utility guys killed them while replacing a water line. Looks like I may have gotten some of the best neighbors ever...

Done operating on the bator, lets see if I can get a stedier temp! I really need these eggs to go in tonight. I wanted them in yesterday! The other bator looks good.

Faerie, thanks for the info. They had a virus going around school & I had hoped she wouldn't get it. Of all my kids she is the one that seems to get it the most often but you never know with her because she has been known to chuck her lunch & then be perfectly fine.

Dinner is on!!! Whats everyone having?

I am seriously considering putting my birds in a temporary pen somewhere and tearing down my coops and starting all over. I have a design in mind that will be perfet for my birds and my place, but the old pens have to go first. I think I might downsize to a bare minimum and begin anew. I'll have to see what Evan thinks about the idea.

Stimp I got alot of birds seperated today and the birds that I wanna take to aution in a pen together, and birds from the inside brooder to the outside. Marans are looking good that I got in the bator so it is about auction/ swap time for the little birds!! Does anyone know what % of commission that they take a Blanchard?

I have a clean garage and coop again...until tomorrow.

I parked my truck near the garage door exit and walked out regular and had my boy go out regular and also had my stuff inside. I was taken every precaution I could think of after what happened at the first Blanchard Auction i went to...you know...I don't think it was anyone that was actually in there buying...

I'm on a bird-buying diet. I have 10 outside, 1 in quarantine, and 13 chicks. 5 of the chicks are broilers, so they'll be gone in about 10 weeks. The rest of them? Yeah. I'll be culling some.

No, I won't be selling any of the MFCs, just wanted to say that...
