Sycamore, Great fast growing big shade tree. I have one that is 3 yrs in the ground and should really get on with business this year.

I have been here almost 3 yrs also and have not planted a single fruit tree either. I want apple, peach and pear.

I love apples but can only realy find red or gold delicous down here and i just dont like those varietys. Give me a pink lady or honeycrisp anyday. Even Gala or Granny over those durn delicous varietys.

I only have 4 birds left...but they ARE show quality...LOL

I'm going to be getting some more here fairly soon, but only 3 of my original birds survived the attack.

Bantams...HA...I only had four bantams...3 were stolen and 1 I sold at the Shawnee show (she was a bantam barred rock).

Stupid wind

Here I am out on the plains nothing to stop a polar bear's well windyness and nothing absolutely nothing! Tried flying kites with my physics class...they built them with the 1st and 2nd grade and no wind!

Coop closes at noon on Saturdays. Bill said to call down there
and ask for Joe or Donna and ask them to give you the number
off the yellow sheet in the middle of the bulletin board that
is advertising silkie chicks. They're good folks down there
and unless they're super busy, will be glad to help. They're
open till 5 on weekdays.

I forget who, but someone mentioned TSC, the one in Mustang said March 15th for chicks, can't get them too early I guess for those that just want easter chics, or they'd be hitting the ugly stage about then
