I would put a moist paper towel around it and hope that it continues to absorb it. No wood chips maybe just a shelf liner to go under the chick.

I have s'meggs hatching! woot!

I pulled a "Roy" and didn't mark down when I set them in the incubator.

I intially thought they were supposed to hatch over this past weekend. Good thing I didn't toss'em!

I bought 30 - 40 count americana eggs from someone that was suppose to hatch on the 9th of march, but I probably threw about 20 or more of them away, they didnt hatch. I know it was the eggs cause I have been having a great hatch rate with that incubator. I was upset. Specially at $6.00 a dozen.

I can't complain about the one's that aren't hatching. I am lucky that any of them are hatching to start with considering the unstable temps & they are a 3 days late now. The RIR are the stronger of them since I have 5 of them & only 1 EE.

Well, its the same weekend right now as ours, but they are trying to move it to the 1st saturday of each month. Same guy who owns the auction in Dodge City
