Okies in the BYC The Original

ArtsyRobin to pick up another addition to the family.

Doc is almost finished with all of the new pens jus one more door and they will all be done.

6 new pens. Now,

I need to fill them.

CONGRATULATIONS on the New G-Baby Steph. Beautilful baby with a beautiful name.

I could just see someone telling this crew that they couldn't see a new Grandbaby, P&B, Sooner, Luv2b and all, WARPATH time.

Steph it took a ton of control not to take her head off.

I understand B52's point.
Point being, with the ordance in place, raising chickens would be illegal inside the city limits making it illegal. The basic premise behind BYC is to talk about raising chickens within the city limits, but, if it is illegal, do we stop talking about raising chickens within the city limits since with the ordance it would be illegal.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade but straighten out what was being expressed.

I see a big difference. Raising Chickens is something completely different than the other. Raising for eggs, food & enjoyment, now compare that with the other.


Last I am saying on the issue because I don't want to be the reason for our thread being shut down.

Hens and hatching eggs

Momma and I have been talking about getting hatching eggs, but we've not had hens that've laid fertile eggs since we moved here. What is it that we should do about that? I've never had to worry about hatching chicks before since my first flock were all free range.

We are going to Alex tonight. Renia works the auction as the ticket clerk/writer. Sorry we didn't make it to Anadarko yesterday, when we got up it was raining and the wind blowing like crazy so we decided not to try. About 8 AM it was beautiful out and we kicked ourselves for not having gone. We still would like to get you a few roosters delivered and pick up that cochine roo. Call if you want to get together before Blanchard sale.

We all love are bird's no matter the breed or wat they are bred 4. Show or just plain old barnyard that is wat bring's us all together.
