Evening everyone! God I love this weather!!! Went to an auction last night, and got up this morning and set up at the local Swap meet (Afton), took all 108 chicks that I had and sold them all, and came back 7 Belgian Quail D'Anvers and a pair of Partridge Gold Laced. I will be bringing some D'Anver roosters to POOPS so I am going to donate them to the POOPS auction. Hope everyone had a great day!!!

Hey don't worry about it Buster, we have a supply of replacement parts now. A friend of ours just told us about a place West of Chickasha that has the parts to fix it. They won't be open until Monday but that is still OK.

I bought a dozen goose eggs from Mike D this evening and Doc wants me to get them in the incubator soon. I will get everything I need Monday and get it fired up. Thanks and there is no need to worry about it. I am now up to 5 incubators also. By the way, it was nice to have seen you and Erlene.

Find me at POOPS if you're interested in Barnevelders. I should have hatching eggs, chicks, and started birds. Here's one of my hens. She's a sweetheart and loves to be picked up. It was super windy when I took the picture. Her neck doesn't usually look this fluffy.

Montana's (Hot Dog) paint mare was due to foal on April 1st. We were going to name it Sugar's April Fool.
Well, she fooled us. She hasn't had it yet but is developing a good bag. She play the April Fool's joke
on us by NOT having it. So we have deceided to name it Sugar's April Fool.

So what does everyone think about the name?

Evening folks!

Just got back from the auction and got the chicks I bought at Atwoods settled into the brooder. Did not buy anything, the adult bird prices were a bit rich for my blood and I was not interested enough in what was there to pay the prices asked. I did get 5 silver laced polish crested (3 bearded) and one white polish crested for 2.59 each. Cheaper then ordering from the hatchery.

The Atwoods in Chickasaw is twice as big at the one in Norman, I was a bit jealous going in there. They had a big selection of chicks and other kinds of birds. There were quite a few polish crested in there. I think there was some more silver laced, one gold laced left, buff and I think a couple of whites also. Hope the white one I have is a rooster cause I have a white hen I would like to put him over.

It was nice to see Carla, Gerald, Mike, Buster, Doc, Regina, Jerry and of course Al. Sorry if I missed someone, really tired. Carla, hope you start feeling well soon. Remember drink lots of water, take an expectrant before you go to bed and dose up on the Zinc. Al hope you get plenty of rest this weekend you look plum worn smooth.

Speaking of being worn smooth I think it about time for me to hit the sack.

Have a great night everyone!

Poco that is a beautiful hen. I love the coloration. Doc absolutely loves Partridge cochines and she looks a little like the color pattern.
