I call them side by sides. I think the proper name for them is "ruv" for recreational utility vehicle ( I could be wrong ). We both have ATV's and still enjoy riding them but some of those trails can get pretty hairy. The last time my nephew and I were up there, black bear trail was closed because some nitwit in an SUV missed a turn and he and his family rolled about half way down the mountain. Other than that, it's a blast. I like that you can ride your atvs right down main street in most of those little towns.

Do you just mean food wise? If you keep a watch on Sooner's food list posts, you should be able to tell if there's a gap that needs filling

Is there a special place for Sooner Food list?

"Sooner" is a lady's screen name on here. She posts on this OKIES ON THE BYC with an updated food list every so often. She also posts an updated shirt order list...

a common misnomer, just 'cause they are on tie cords doesn't mean they are being fought. It certainly isn't illegal to breed, raise, or keep chickens. I tie out my roosters, be they bantam, heavy standard, or what have you.

They can't abuse hens by overbreeding nor can they get into scuffles with other roosters when kept in this manner. Tie cord give'em a lot more room than most cages or pens.

Many of us raise them and many use the barrels...heck there are several of us that move barrels around the state!

I know folks that have spent hundreds (even tousands) of dollars on a bird and kept it this way...folks feed these birds very well. You will usually find guard animals in these situations protecting the flocks. The breeders will be able to give you lineages fo the birds for many generations.

cruelty doesn't add into the equation

I'm ok with the barrels really it was the 50 to 100 barrels of only roos that. Concerned me I didn't see any hens anywhere. Sorry if I offended anyone was really just curious. I can see having several extra for breeding but not heaps.

hens and pullets are usually roaming free, unless in a breeding pen with a particular rooster.
