morning everyone!! gorgeous outside! will be taxi-ing the ducklings outside in their playpen- trying to be patient with the LB integrationg into the flock, but no major damage to them yet...

had a awesome flyby- yes he was probably looking to see if the buffet was open- but there i stood thinking about letting everyone out for a run, Barny growled i looked up and there was a very low flying eagle- about tree top level, absolutely gorgeous! nope, the buffet wasn't open- and of course the camera was inside!

but that was one of those jaw dropping moments....

so the plans today are to have fun with the birds, plant some lettuce, rototill the garden so we can get the plants in soon- have started the seeds... lets see...cukes, pumpkin, watermellon, peas, maters, cantelope, squash.... i think thats all.....

I have dealt with KOA a lot concerning POOPS and although I didn't always get my way they have always been friendly and courteous to me. They have a lot of people working there and probably some new ones too so maybe you just caught someone at a bad time.
No excuse for it though.

Yeah! Thanks! I just pretty much shrugged it off and moved on. We just were trying to decide on cabin or hotel. With 5 of us coming, we need room. We also may have a couple more friends joining us as well, and wanted room for them too. I told my hubby I would rather just rough it in our 3 room tent since we hardly have time for camping. He said he was pretty fond of showers. There are showers there, so maybe I can convince him to do that. I just love being in Nature!

Good Morning my friends and neighbors of the BYC, I am dropping in to let everyone know that my Aunt in Texas has passed away after a long fight with heart and kidney problems, I have to go to the funeral on Tuesday near Wichita Falls Texas, I would be willing to pick up some birds or such on my way back from Texas for anyone if it is on my route, will be traveling I44 south to Lawton and on south to WF TX then east to Henrietta Tx. and may come back that way on Thursday or may come back from TX up I35 north if I need to, call me if you need my cell contact Buckguy, I will send it to him, I think he has it anyways. . Mornin Y'all,

this past weekend I added a new addition to my RIR flock of hens. I bought them a high quality dark, 8 month old, RIR rooster! He's tall and has a really big breast, seems to be happy and adjusting well to the girls. Has a really deep & long crow that he seems to put all of his energy into when he belows one out. I'll post a photo latter today.
