Hope everyone is doing well today. Me, I gotta find us a new church, after mine voted down supporting a network of churches that give help to local homeless families with children. It wasn't even going to cost them anything. Place has forgotten its own mission and has just become a social club where folks hang out every Sunday. Sad.

Good Morning Okies!!

So far this week seems to be going better than last week, Im hoping it stays that way. We worked on the yard Sunday. Got alot done but still have alot to go! We had a cousin come over with his tractor yesterday and till the garden, I dont think we are going to plant this year but still going to till it frequently since it is a new garden spot. Figure if we till it plenty this year and add chicken poop several times it will be alot less maintanence next year, since there shouldnt be too many weeds to deal with.

Good morning everyone. I just thought I would post the list this morning for wants/haves. We have been so busy, I barely have time to keep up with reading the board. That doesn't leave much time for chatting. We have decided to fire our contractors. They are wasting too much time and materials. We have started doing the remodel ourselves. We have been working on it in the evenings, after work, and on weekends. We took out the wall separating the kitchen from the utility room last night. We did more in 2 hours than the contractors did in 2 days. I will be taking my vacation time to work on the house, starting next week. Well guess I better get in the shower and head to work. It is going to be a long day. I will be working until 8:00 tonight, so no remodeling for me today.

On the church thing, we are seriously looking at one of the hosting churches for that program. They do so many good things in the community. Our current church just organizes outings for themselves to plays and concerts and such. I love that kind of stuff, but seems to me it should be about more than that.
