Dont really have anything planned other than a 4PM appointment with a Social Worker with Foster Parenting.

Food listing for POOPS 2010:

Hi everyone as you know P.O.O.P.S will be May 1st . There will be one meal this year. Most of the meat (thanks to our P.O.O.P.S fund from the fall) will be taken care of so we will be looking mainly for side dishes, deserts, casseroles, paper products, cutlery & drinks.

We will have limited outlets for crock pots if that is something you might be interested in, chicken & dumplings were a big hit along with that banana pudding. Keep in mind the number of people (aprox. 100) that will be attending when making your dish or dishes.

If you volunteer to bring drinks, paper products or cutlery please tell me the quantity you will bring, also the drinks will need to be on ice. I will also need 2 of the large drink coolers to make kool -aid & tea.

I will need volunteers to help with setting up the meal & cleaning up after.

Please PM me with Food in the subject line with what you plan to bring.

I will keep a running list to post from time to time.

Good Morning all. Nothing new going on for me but would like to pick up on P&B's post.


I look forward to P.O.O.P.S so I can see all the friends that I chat with daily but most of all the enjoyment of seeing everyone have a great time talking about chickens, learning new things (I always learn something) and seeing the kids that are learning about the fun of chickens.

I'm doing great. I have a few new construction projects going, and for once they don't involve chickens. I bought some new toys and I have to build someplace to keep them.

Teach, I almost had a snake for you.
I was on the patio and turned around to go back inside and all of a sudden this snake and a big toad frog came rolling out of the wood stack. They were right up against the door. I was trying to catch the snake but almost got bit so I went into Ninja Resacue mode.
The toad survived but his assailant refused to be taken alive!
