I also need to get the food everyone is planning to bring so I can fill in any holes!!! At this point we need side dishes!! OF the 100+ people signed up to come I have 16 that have told me what they plan to bring, lets go folks.

(Shhhh....I am not supposed to be on here - sneak-posting while at a week-long training session - I'm doing the A/V for these meetings and am sending this post from the backstage backup computer. Don't tell!)

I'm afraid my Brown Leghorn is eggbound. She was standing in a nest box last night after dark when I got home and went to gather eggs. I set her on the roost and she was still standing on the roost this morning while all the other hens were outside in the run. I took her down off the roost and she went outside, but then I had to leave. I work from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day this week, so I don't have the time I usually would to treat her - if only it was next week I'd be better able to nurse her. I feel bad for her. I'll bring her inside late tonight long enough to do the "soak in warm water" treatment and see if that does anything.

It was a hog nosed snake. One of my favorites but not only did he almost bite me, he also was doing his stinky thing like a skunk snake or something.

Do you get to turkey hunt anymore?
Man I had a blast hunting last weekend.
I have not turkey hunted much before and really just went so Jared could try and get one.
We both got one but getting mine was just gravy.

That was awesome Maribeth. I think the game plan is to just eat leftovers in the evening, then clean uu when it is over. We would be too famished to carry our birds home after going that long. And we sure don't want to do any CPR on you if you have problems with the blood sugar. LOL HOpe you're having a great day.
