Is there any discharge from the eyes? If so, is it clear or cheesy looking? Any odor to the discharge?

Go to Tractor Supply or your local feed store and get some Tylan-50 injectable, A handfull of syringes and the same amount of small gauge, short needles. Give the sick birds 1/2cc twice daily for large fowl and 1/4 cc for bantams.

I just got a call so I have to rush off to work but I will check back in as soon as I get in this evening. If you have not given injections before the first one is hard to do but the rest of them are easy.

Good Morning.... Looks like its going to be a relaxing day. I still have alot to get done outside but I will have the grandbaby for a little bit today so instead of yard work I will be playing grandma today.

I don't think Les saw this post. How many do you have that are showing signs?? Would it be possible to separate those birds from the rest? If so, I would do that & give those shots & the others antibiotic's in the water & keep a close eye on them. Hopefully Les would agree.

hi Sooner..mainly the little new ones.....about 7 right now......none of my big ones are showing signs.I can seperate today.... does the medication that you add to the water work ?

these are at least a month old.....I will use the kind in the water for them and wait until I hear from him....... I got them at poops.so they maybe be 2 or so months old..bantams.........thanks Sooner

Morning all! it was fun looking at all the birds Sooner. You did a good job raising them.

Jarvis hang onto those grands all you can, they grow up much to quick!lol. It seems they grow twice as fast as their parents!hehehe.

Going to be another hot one here. Went out and moved chicks around. Have so many sizes that its aconstant battle keeping all the same size in one group. The rock bantams grow faster than the OEGB babys.

Donnie I haven't forgotten you I will get them pics sent!
