Rabbits with floppy ears are called "lops"
There is an angora rabbit - in fact I brought one back from Indiana last summer for a friend, when I brought back my Flemish Giants. They are very fluffy and require almost daily brushing. You can actually spin their hair/wool into yarn.

Just tell your drive coordinator that donating blood makes you lightheaded and unable to do anything except sleep for the rest of the day, so you have to donate on a day when that is an option. They will understand.

I have seen that logic trick used before poultry and bees and I am on to your game!

My mom used to do it to me and now my wife does! I am perfectly happy living in a land of make believe and fanthoms and being scared of things that are silly to be afraid of...HA!

Tarantulas are cool. Have only seen one since I have lived here. It was out ambling around after a rain. But I had an orange-knee as a pet in jr. high. I took it to school once and carried him around all day. Teacher's would have krapped their pants had they known. An idiot friend of mine accidently ran him over with his bike. I cried for days. But I saw the neatest thing on Discover channel. In March in Sonora, Mexico is the mating season. The males go out in full moon and go to the holes where the females live. They go to the entrance of the hole and do a dance (*BeeGees music playing in background*). If the female thinks the dance is okie dokie she will mate with the male... if not he moves on to the next den. They showed this one male who could not get any females to get into his dance... so he finally just grabbed this female and had his way with her. She was putting up a fight the whole time...lol. I was telling a friend of mine about this and he asked if tequila was involved cause it sounded like alot of the bars in east L.A. !! HAHAHA!!

So....update on the Idabel Poultry Show situation.

Not that it's really important, but I thought I'd share what I get to do on Friday March 27.

First things first, I live in Fayetteville, AR where I go to college.

Itinerary:
1. Be in Little Rock by 1:00PM (3 hour drive from Fayetteville, 6 hours total)
2. Be back in Fayetteville to pick up the dog to drop him off in Claremore (2 hour drive to Claremore, OK).
3. Get birds into crates and drive 4 hours to Idabel, OK.
4. Get to hotel and drop dead...

Poor girl! Well, I am sure someday when you are old and feeble, you will look back on these times and say

Thanks, Charter..........guess the ones I looked at were
sitting on their feet feathers. I sure didn't see any. But,
that takes care of those. He has the blacks and the whites,
and Kendra has the mottled. Don't need any more cochins
to bathe and blow dry !!!!!

We finally got a fair shower at Tahlequah, but it sure didn't
last very long. But, was better than nothing, settled some
of the dust.

Have a good one !

Amen to that, Grace. I am surprised at the difference even 5 years can make. My hubby's nephew is like 18 and he says to me, "I am not going to think I am old till I'm like 60." I told him..., "That's fine... unfortunately your body thinks it at 40!"

Monty :

Go to your profile then display, and you will find the page settings. I think that sounded like thats what you were looking for. No word yet on the trailer towed Smoker, still got the word out so will see.
