Jaxon definately had a great time playing with Austin, Montana and Grayson. I didn't make the conection that you were on the BYC forum - next time, please speak up and introduce yourself

Sorry, LOL.

I've always been somewhat socially awkward, so it's hard for me to talk to people I haven't met in person, unless they talk to me first. Bill is the social butterfly, he'll talk to anybody whether he knows them or not. Without him around, I've just been at kind of loss when it comes to being around people. I promise that I do like human people tho, and not just birds!

I'll try harder next time.

If you will get a shirt from the BYC store and wear it to your next auction, I promise that some of us will approach you first.

OK but there is no such thing as useless eye candy!

I agree - eye candy chickens in the color blue make me smile - so they have a good purpose even if they don't lay an egg big enough to fool with

Does anyone have any 9 week old barred rock hens for sale? My wife's favorite rooster was killed by something (saw a hawk on top of the enclosure). He was a black sex link but looked like a barred rock. I would like to replace him with 3 rock hens if possible. Thanks in advance.

Travel within Oklahoma is acceptable so fear not the distance.

Sorry I had to leave earlier, Bad JuJu happened. Glad that all had a great time at the sale last night.

Great pix of the folks that attended. Hey Teach, where is the TuTu? Just not the same without it.

Don't forget the 1st Anniversary of the Fletcher Poultry Auction is next month. I'm sure that Peaches

will have something special for the occasion.

I really can't express how much that I miss being there to see all our friends. Peaches knows that I miss

and love her and Montana. I hope that my friends know that I love and miss them too.

Thanks to everyone that assist Peaches with all she has to do. Thank you.

If they are bound for the table why cull them? As long as they are getting around ok and eating and drinking then I would let them be.

Beth it sounds like the temp was just a tad too high. Did you keep track of when you put in the eggs? Did they hatch on day 21 or earlier?
Humidity that is too high can also cause this problem. I use a digital temp/humidity do-dad that is used in a reptile enclosure that I got at Petsmart for around 10 or so dollars.

With the wet weather that we have been having I have actually not added a drop of water to our incubator this year and the humidity was right at 45% and we had good results with our hatches.

Sgtmkt - sorry that I took so long to get that NN rooster out of your cage. I got to talking to Partywyn, Barnswallow, Peaches, and ..... and forgot that I needed to get something out of a cage.
